Most of it comes straight out of my coaching sessions... what women actually say, what the research actually shows, and small things worth trying this week. No shame, nothing clinical, and none of the tiptoeing ๐งก

The sentences that come up again and again in my sessions, and what's usually sitting underneath them.
The Ferly method is built with Dr Lori Brotto (huge fan!), so this is evidence rather than vibes.
Small, specific and doable. Nothing that needs a free weekend or a personality transplant.
A client said something on Tuesday that I keep coming back to. "Lexy, I keep waiting to feel like it... and I just never do!" She'd been waiting for the version of desire she had at 25. The one that arrived on its own, uninvited, usually at the least convenient moment going. And when it stopped showing up, she assumed something in her had broken.
Nothing had. For most women in long relationships desire doesn't come first, it comes second, after something has already begun. Which changes the question completely. It stops being "why don't I want it?" and becomes "what would make me open to it?"
Hi, I'm Lexy. I'm a science-backed lead sexologist and I work with women who've lost desire in their long-term relationships. You know that thing where you love your partner but you just... don't want sex anymore? And you can't figure out if something's wrong with you or if this is just what happens? That's my world. I write about the real stuff women think but don't say out loud, the patterns I see in my coaching work every single day, and the science that actually explains why your desire disappeared (spoiler: you're not broken). If you want honest conversations about sex, desire, and what's really going on in your relationship, you're in the right place ๐

The Desire Quiz takes about 2 minutes and tells you which pattern you're in. Free, and it's the quickest way to work out what would actually help!
